48"x %3" gesso and oil. (I know that’s obvious and everyone knows happiness is fun, but isn’t it so fantastic how fun it really is... just to clarify 😉) Creative ideas are thrilling pure goodness. They come from somewhere behind the physical world... right! 🤗David Lynch describes being creative as “going fishing.” Having the desire for an idea is the bait, and being relaxed and daydreaming is the pond. I’m listening to “MasterClass” right now... and it seems like all the creatives say the same thing. Ideas are not made by the artist. Artists are open to catching the ideas and putting in the world. I feel like the joy found in movies, cuisine, music, paintings etc. proves the universe is very friendly and wants us to be happy. Grateful when I meet one in real life.
